Video gamers

Video game people are an interesting bunch!

Being the Lovely receptionist for a video game company is not all it's cracked up to be. Don't get me wrong i love that i have a job, and i love that i get paid a good amount of money, i'm blessed to get medical, dental, and vision. Downside You have to deal with people who are so obsessed with their video games that they don't want to hear what you have to say they just want to be helped right NOW!!!! There is no please hold let me transfer you in their world. It's more like HELP ME NOW OR I WILL DIE!!!!!!

you have no idea how many times i have been threatened over the phone, how many people have cussed me out, and how many times i have been proposed to over the phone LOL!


Today's call takes the cake though. I had a guy call and ask " who do i speak to about your company being racist" " they deleted my account and i know it's because your company is racist against minorities" i sent him through to customer support so they can tell him why his account was deleted.

This guy calls back and tells me "LOOK LADY I WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE RIGHT FU*KING NOW, I DON'T WANT TO BE SENT TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT I WANT TO SPEAK TO A PERSON"

I have to tell him that he needs to talk to customer support so they can explain why his account was deleted.

He responded with "just cause you are racist against minorities you aren't going to help me that's fine"

So now I'm mad!
i tell him look sir i am a LATIN WOMAN it don't get more minority than that and i put him back to customer service!

they don't pay me enough to deal with these A-holes!

I CAN NOT wait to watch that round table discussion on "THE TOP 10 HIP HOP ARTISTS of the 21st CENTURY" (They're debut album had to be released between 1999 to present) i am curious as to who they will pick but i swear to Zeus that if Drake is anywhere in the top 5 i am... going to start a riot and punch people in their balls.... even women!!!
so my question is who are your top 10?

Mos Def had his Solo Debut in 1999 so i would Def. pick him.
also LUPE FIASCO, Luda, Fabolous, Kanye (even if im not really a fan), probably Eminem, and Lil Wayne! i don't know there are no real stand out artists to me in the 21st century that i would call the greatest!

BET "HIP HOP" awards!

So last night as i sat in my room watching the BET "HIP HOP" awards all i kept thinking was...... WTF is bullllllllssssshhhhhh!!!!!!TTTTTTTTTTTT

the only good things about that show last night were...

1)Salt, Pepa, and Spin being honored as great women in HIP HOP! it's about damn time!

2) those Music Cyphers were pretty tight. I very much enjoyed those.

3) Antoine Dodson.... OK i know his 15 minutes of fame should of been up a long time ago. I just love the fact that the money he made from "HIDE YO WIFE, HIDE YO KIDS, HIDE YO HUSBANDS CUZ THEY RAPING EVERYBODY UP IN HERE" made him enough money to get his family out the ghetto! i know they were mocking him but come on you gotta admit that was funny. especially seeing people in the crowd singing along LOL he got more love than most the other performers HAHA!

4) Don't judge me but i actually did like the Cali Swag District, Digital Underground Performance. The tribute to tupac at the end was nice

5) B.O.B

OK now what i didn't like.....

Pretty much everything else about that show.

MIKE EPPS was a HORRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIBBBBLLLLE HOST! i don't think he said ONE funny thing.

so i had to look at the website to see what the awards were because the show was so bad that i forgot. I know you are probably asking well Irene why did u watch. My answer.... i was hoping it would get better. BOY WAS I WRONG!

Peoples Champ Award: Nicki Minaj as long as drake didn't win I'm good! Plus Nicki is cool. there is something about her that interests me (other than her ginormous ass) lol

Perfect Combo award: Jay Z and Alicia Keys now that one i ain't mad at. that was a good choice. It was either that duo or B.O.B and Bruno mars for me. (again as long as drake didn't win i don't care) lol

Best Live performer: JAY Z i ain't mad at that either. toss up between him and Busta

CD of the year: JAY Z i agree but in my eyes i say B.O.B hehehe

Rookie of the year: Nicki Minaj..... i agree with that one. However her album has not even came out yet. Before we start giving her rookie of the year i think we need to hear a full album from her not just her "FEATURE" spot on songs. i am thankful that waka flocka did not win. good god that man is horrible.

Hustler of the year: DIDDY! you know what i ain't mad at Diddy. That foo gots some mad marketing skills. He knows how to sell his shit. FOR REAL! no one hustles like DIDDY! Love him or hate him he knows what he is doing and he gets sh!t done.


CLub Banger: BMF... Rick Ross f. Styles P (Produced by Lex Luger) hmmmm.. i think i would of chosen DJ KHALED All i do is win.

Lyricist of the year: Eminem you know i agree. hate him or love him Eminem is a lyricist and a damn good one

MVP of the year: DRAKE! OMG are u "F"ing KIDDING ME!?!?!?! MVP???? are you people serious? MVP of what? any of the other 4 nominees deserve it way more than drake. i really DO NOT understand the hype behind him and i don't think i ever will. SHAKE MY HEAD!!!




I was very disappointed in this show. BET needs to reconsider a lot of things for next years show.

It's been a minute....

So i woke up this morning and i have been looking back on the lives of certain people that have been in my life. Paste or present, and it seems that quite a few people i know are searching for happiness. They search for happiness in Men, Women, Religion, drugs, alcohol etc.

Happiness comes from within yourself you CAN NOT find it anywhere else. it disappoints me to see people jump from one thing to another hoping to find that happiness. The truth is they will never find their happiness until they are happy within themselves.

Stop looking to outside sources to gain that happy feeling. STOP TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR LIFE and once you look at yourself you can be happy! Nothing in this world or No one in this world can give u what you are looking for you gotta do it yourself!

it's been a while.....

So i haven't posted anything in a while... mainly cuz im lazy!

You know i basically just came here to gripe about something and get a few things off my chest!

So you know i try not to let things bother me, annoy me, get to me, etc...
but sometimes i just can't help it.
So right now my current annoyance is people, mainly people that Fu*k up and then when they see a window of opportunity they hop in. you know that saying give some one an inch and they'll take a mile! yeah a few people have been taking that mile and it's starting to bug me! I just dont have the heart to be like hey yo BACK UP!

i'm trying to be nice, i'm trying to be civil but its hard! UGH!!!!!!!


oh well all i can do is continue to be me and continue to do things how i have been!

I AM SO THANKFUL!

i just wanted to say that this last saturday was an amazing time! all the stress and cleaning was so worth it! thanks to each and everyone of you that showed up even if it was for a little bit! i feel bad i didnt get to talk to everyone but i had a little to much to drink and was bouncing around everywhere! its all kind of a blur LOL! i am truly honored and blessed to have been able to close out my birthday month with family and friends!The party was a great success! we had DJ's we had bands Fosforo, mezklah, and a SURPRISE performance by FITTER! we had alcohol and LOTS of it! we had old and new friends all together, we had family there! we also had a few people thatj ust happened to hear the bands and stopped by to party!we also had someone take our red light out of our bathroom lol WTF!!!!ok so now to the individual thank yous!

First i want to say thanks Rafi.. he's an awesome roomie!!! he allows me to continue to bring strange people into our home without even question :)

Next Karla and Jenny.... you are my girls and i am truly honored to have shared another birthday with two such beautiful women!
also to Cindy Laura, and Michelle who also celebrated their bdays with us thanks so much for being there! YAY JULY BABIES!!!!!

Also my Edwin! i cant say it enough but thank you thank you thank you!

this is so true in many aspects

with friendships, relationships, jobs, even family!!

Sometimes you go into situations not sure what the outcome will be, but i truly believe that you have to experience them and enjoy it while you can.


Over the last few years i have lost friends, jobs and ended relationships. I would not trade any of those experiences for anything. Some i knew going into them that it wasn't going to be long term but i still felt i need to just experience it and see what could come out of it. So just like the song says.... "We might not make it in the end but, we'll sure enjoy that ride" i did enjoy the ride but i am glad to be off it now.

So a friend of mine asked me what i meant when i said this was one of my annoyances. "When people who are mad at me and don't speak to me still speak to my friends or family! THEY are my FAMILY and my FRIENDS and YOU do not deserve to speak to them! If you don't want to talk to me than why do u need to talk to my family or friends!"

well what i meant was....

If you don't want to talk to me, if you want to act like a child, if you want nothing to do with me than you have no need to converse with MY FAMILY and MY FRIENDS. Why do you need to keep in contact with my family members? It doesn't mater how long of a period or short of a period we were friends. I am a product of my family so really you have no reason to talk to them. STAY AWAY! you don't see me going and talking to your family or friends. The reason is they are YOUR FAMILY and YOUR friends. I dont care that your sister is pregnant, i dont care that your brother bought a house, i dont care that your uncle got engaged, i dont care that your brother is moving to Florida. I don't care that your roomate got a raise. That is your family, your friends and your business. ok maybe saying i dont care is a little harsh, but i dont know how else to word it.

So please stay away from the people who are in my life, i dont want our nasty attitude to rub off on them LOL!!!!!!!

NO COFFEE FOR IRENE!

SO for some odd reason... i don't know why!!! I decided to stop drinking coffee!

So friday was DAY ONE and yeah it was not as easy as i thought it would be.
I was ok at first but then i was like craving coffee nasty status. I tricked myself and drank some hot chocolate but it just wasn't the same.

Come 2pm i was so tired i wanted to shoot myself!


SO here i am MONDAY MORNING FEENING for some coffee but i am trying to stick to my guns!

If you dont hear from me tomorrow morning that means i did shoot myself!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LAWD!!!!!

So apparently this lady from whittier gave birth to OCTUPLETS that is 8 babies....


and she was already the mother of 6 kids!

are you kidding me 14 kids!

she has a 7 year old, a 6 year old, a 5year old, a 3 year old, and 2-year-old twins!!!

14 kids all under the age of 10!!


they also said that she lives with her parents... where is the father is he involved because really how is one woman supposed to raise and support that many kids alone. They dont know how old she is but they believe she is 33, i heard on the radio this morning that she was 27 years old!!

either way that is out of control!
